I’ve tested Adobe Audition 3.0 on my machine, and it really is a great audio editor ( it also supports VST plugins!). That’s it! Once you’ve installed the software, you can register it to your Adobe account. Now, create a free Adobe account ( or sign in with your old Adobe ID) and you’ll be forwarded to the page which contains the Adobe Audition 3.0 download link and your free serial number. Apparently, everyone can download and install this for free, but it’s only legal for CS2 license owners to use the software. UPDATE #4: The downloads are now back up, but so is this press release by Adobe (which pretty much explains it all). Sorry for the confusion everyone!
